Laura was born in Newark, NJ on Jan. 18, 1955 departed on Jul. 28, 2012 She lived in Kearny for 35 years before moving to Seaside Park eight months ago.

She is survived by her husband, Francis; daughters, Nicole McKay, and Ashley McKay; her siblings, Dean Everetts, Karen D'Alessandro, and Veronica Zeichner,

and grandchildren, Tyler McKay, and Gia DeAquino.

Laura also leaves behind her parents, Gene and Theresa (Hughes) D'Alessandro.

 Laura Everetts McKay

 I went to Sacred Heart from the 4th grade to the 8th. I then went to Essex County H.S. for Girls.

 After that I moved around quite a bit, Florida, South Carolina , North Carolina, Georgia.

 I finally came back to New Jersey in 1976 met my husband Frank McKay. Got married after knowing him for 3 months.

We have two great children Nicole 32 and Ashley 22. I have a grandson 12 and a granddaugher almost 4.

I worked mostly in collections , right now I'm a medical consultant for charity care.

 I'm still married and my husband and I find the perfect way to keep the relationship going is to live apart,

 and so we have for over 20 years. Good plan, right ?
